About

Ella has always loved the arts.  She grew up in a suburban town in Maryland, dancing and singing to Britney Spears in her bedroom at 5 years old.  She and her friends would make up dance routines together, write songs, and even record them on the Playschool cassette microphone/recording combo toy.  She has played the violin since age 10, and learned sewing, knitting, and crocheting around the same age. However, she began to pursue painting as a career in her 30s, and she is a 2026 Graduate of the Milan Art Mastery Program.

Ella creates art that is inspired by embracing fun, lively energy, inner strength, and the feeling of elation.  Ella utilizes a mixed media process, which includes collage, acrylic inks, a variety of pastels, markers, and paints.  She uses an unstructured approach color to create color stories that elicit joy and warmth to her collectors.

Ella currently works in a small, in-home art studio year round.  She is working on her second collection of work for 2026, focusing on a mixed media and oil approach, and will be incorporating more abstract realism pieces.  Ella will be offering fine art prints of her work in late 2026.
